Neil Blessett

Neil has been a member of the band since February 2023.

Neil grew up in the corps at Peterborough Citadel progressing through the junior sections. In 1994 he moved to Birmingham to study tenor horn at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with honours in 1998. Neil attends Birmingham Citadel with his wife and two daughters and has been the principal horn of Birmingham Citadel Band for over 25 years.  

Neil has been priviliged to play with many brass bands and has played regularly with the Fodens band.  

Neil works as a senior claims handler specialising in personal injury claims.
