Gemma Potter

Gemma is a member of Coventry City Corps where she has been Primary Sergeant, Band Sergeant and more recently YP Band leader. She initially started her working life in education, as a primary school teacher, with the additional responsibility for Special Education Needs and Inclusion. Since 2017 she had worked as the Community Programme Manager for Coventry Salvation Army.

Despite always wanting to play the trombone she began her brass playing on cornet. She finally got her wish in 2000 when she was asked to play Bass Trombone for the corps band. She did this for 19 years before moving on to Tenor Trombone. She joined the ISB in November 2022.
