Gareth Craik

Originally born into the Halifax Citadel corps in West Yorkshire, Gareth has been a member of the Peterborough Citadel corps since 1982 where he is a bandsman and songster. Following a six year stint working for a Payroll and HR company, Gareth switched careers and joined the British Army as a musician in 2004. He auditioned for and was assigned to the Band of the Coldstream Guards with whom he continues to serve as principal Bass Trombone.

Gareth was appointed to the trombone section of the ISB in March 2022 and moved to the Bass Trombone chair in September 2024.
